Kaiba

Kaiba (カイバ; Kaiba) is a supporting character in the Akuma no Riddle anime and manga. He’s a teacher at Academy 17, a school secretly training assassin, and is responsible to have sent his student Azuma Tokaku to Class Black on a mission to kill Ichinose Haru. However, he regularly send riddles to Tokaku and doesn’t seem to have an issue with her stepping from the assassion role to instead be Haru’s protector.

Appearance

Kaiba is a tall man with short white hair. Given that he is always seen with sunglasses, his eye color is unknown. He’s wearing a white suit above a red shirt and a black tie. In the manga, his skin appears to be rather pale.

Personality

Kaiba is a snarky and sarcastic man who seems self-confident and rude. He’s quite mysterious and prefers to communicate through riddles. Despite his rude and condescending behaviors, he seems to genuinly cares about Tokaku in his own way and his sending her riddles to help her grow as a person.

Backstory

Kaiba used to be a student at Myojo Academy and was Mizorogi Ataru’s senpai. He’s also an old acquaintance of Yuri Meichi. He eventually became a psychology teacher at Academy 17. Despite teaching at an assassin school, Kaiba isn’t an assassin himself.
